A Lifelong Resident
I've called Mendota Heights home my entire life, and my family's roots in this community go back generations. My grandfather came to the area to help build the Mendota Bridge. During that time, he met and married my grandmother, who had been crowned the Queen of Mendota during the bridge's opening celebration nearly 100 years ago.
Growing up here has allowed me to see firsthand how our community has evolved. While change is a natural part of any city, I believe we should always balance growth with preserving the qualities that make Mendota Heights such a special place to call home.
Professional Experience
I have spent my career as a structural engineer, giving me experience evaluating buildings, infrastructure, long-term planning, and responsible investment in public projects. I believe thoughtful planning and careful stewardship of taxpayer dollars are essential responsibilities of local government.
Why I'm Running
I'm running because I believe residents deserve a voice in the decisions that shape our city's future. As our community considers major investments and long-term projects, I believe we should carefully evaluate their costs, benefits, and impact on taxpayers.
My goal is to help ensure Mendota Heights remains financially responsible while continuing to provide excellent services for our residents.
